Additional Resources

We have a collection of Historical Photos and Documentation relating to Madera County and the people who live here are housed in files and are searchable in person or by calling the room to request assistance.  I will be providing blog posts in the future in an effort to highlight this collection.

Our Obituary Catalog begins in 1982 and is an ongoing project to bring this catalog current.

Our Madera County Native American Tribes collection contains photos from the California Indian Library Collection, historical family photos as well as the scrapbooks from Kendrick and Dorothy (O'Neil) Sherman (North Fork Mono).  Documents from the National Archives that relate to the Madera County Native American Indians are also included in this collection.
